For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. For sale is this 1966 ford f100 short base pickup. Resting on a 1979 ford 4x4 chasis, and running gears. The engine is a 302, that sounds great and runs good, with no smoke, rattles, or funny noises. It cranks everytime with ease. The trans is a granny 4 speed, and it shifts without any issues. The clutch is very good and the rear end is good with no roars, etc. In summary the drive tran is very good. It has good brakes,(no pull), good sterring etc. This truck is all there with all the lights, wipers, heater, and working properly. I would drive it any where, any distance, and have confidence in it. The speedometer is hooked up but doesnt work, actually the whole guage cluster doesn't work. The truck cab, and doors, and rocker panels, and floor boards are solid. Although i would put cab bushings on it, as they are dry rotted. The inside of the bed like most 1964-1966 ford trucks has rust in the bed. The passanger vent window needs replaced, but all doors and windows work good. The tailgate opens and closes excellant. The hood works good, but needs new hood hinges, the seat is good in it. I lke it in primer, but if a person wanted to spend more money on it. It would make a high buck. The reserve is very reasonible. This vechile is on a carlot for sale, so we reserve the right to remove it from the auction at anytime.

Street legal, turn signals, Working Brake lights, turn signals, HID headlights, all work. Paint is 1 1/2 years new done by a reputable body shop. Motor I was told when I bought it is a 351 Ford motor. Body panels are straight, the paint is deep black with red stripes. I have never raced this car but I do drive it around. There's a big glovebox with a shelf, leather grab handles and armrests on explorers with leather interior, and long door pockets with space for a bottle. one reason we like the base model is its conventional gauges, relatively simple 4. 2-inch lcd screen at the top of the center stack, and familiar mechanical knobs below. The base explorer doesn't come with the myfordtouch driver connect technology, and neither does the xlt, unless it's chosen as an option. cars equipped with myfordtouch have two driver-configurable lcd screens in front of the driver on either side a big speedometer, and an 8-inch color touch screen at the top of the center stack.
